The interface has full access to all map data points and a connection to the download/upload dialog.  The feature allows for cloning and map deletion one click away. API 2.0

Upload in a clean and easy to understand way to create a project, a map or update data an existing map. We invested a great deal of time in a cleaner, less rule-based, API and got it. The new API is ready to integrate with anyone that has a RESTful interface. In addition, the integration documentation is now online and updates in real-time for each instance including account level customized elements.

Map Background Manager

Upload and manage your own map backgrounds – started as a way to scale (x,y) story maps in version 1.0 and has grown into a management system with add, delete and replace features. Story maps automatically read the size (x,y) of the image to scale the screen — then if you want you can intervene and resize.
