January 2020 Release Notes

SuiteCX Release Notes

Public / Private Map Sharing URL

Allow visitors and stakeholders to go directly to a map without login and add notes to maps. Map sharing has been a part of SuiteCX since version 1.4 but this enhancement makes it possible to share with a wider more diverse audience with and without login. Practitioners specify which map is Public (no login required) or Private (login required) – this feature requires a “Guest User Account.” Both public and private are in View Only mode.

  • Improved third-party communications
  • Bundled with 2.15 release
  • SuiteCX YouTube videos and new feature announcements are in development.

Guest User / View Mode

Allow users to login with a guest account and add notes to maps. As an extension of “Guest User Account” any project screen in SuiteCX can be shared. The Guest User may navigate and look without interacting – “View Only.” This is an expansion of the capabilities from 1.0.

Upgraded View Only Experience

Allow users to login to a map search and refine a search based on content management tags. The basic “View Only” experience traps visitors in a small subset of the SuiteCX application where they can search by tags then view and download maps as PDF or PNG. The PDF responds to external and internal links so the result acts as a communication plan with links to external documents or internal screens. The login is brand-able and business rule-driven.

Upgraded Layered Maps / 12 Column Maps

10 column maps just got bigger. We had to work at this for some time as our Layered Maps are rich in features and in scope. The functionality was a request to expand from 10 to 12 columns. The idea was to have a year’s worth of programs in one roll-up map and we did it. Thank you Josh….

Update to SuiteCX help system and training videos

Each quarter we take a look at what is missing in our help system experience; after all, we are all about the customer. This is a continuation of our YouTube short subject series where a trainer takes a practitioner through changes and new features in SuiteCX.
